Sweating for the Wedding: 12 simple moves to help you feel your best in your dress

Not everyone needs to lose weight before their wedding but there are lots of us who want to! It can be hard to know exactly where to start, especially when you’re on a wedding budget and you can’t afford a gym membership or a personal trainer. I have come up with 12 simple moves for you to do at home to help you build your confidence and have you looking your best on your big day!

The good old squat. This one will help tone your thighs and your butt.

I have a love-hate relationship with lunges but they really are so great for your legs.

Hold is for as long as you can and try to beat your personal bests each time. Planks are great for building a strong core.

Like regular squats but they will work your inner thighs rather than your outer like regular squats.

Inner thigh workout to the max. Do about 20 of these on each side three times per workout. Your legs will burn but they will look amazing.

Get into the squat position up against a wall and hold it for as long as you can. Again, your legs will burn but it will be worth it. Wall squats are great for your thighs and your glutes.

While they may seem like they belong in primary school, star jumps are a simple way to help boost your fitness. They are also a great workout for your legs, in particular, your calves.

12 simple yet effective exercises anyone can do at home. Get your fiancé involved to increase the fun!
