Our Favourite Rose Gold Rings for 2018

December 8, 2017 / Learn About Metals
As the end of 2017 draws near, we start to wonder what will be big in engagement rings in 2018. One trend we can’t see fading is the ever-growing obsession with rose gold.
Rose gold and white diamonds are undeniably a match made in heaven, but two other combinations we are loving are rose gold bands set with earthy tones such as champagne diamonds and also black diamonds/sapphires teamed with rose gold. Champagne diamonds offer that hint of colour, creating a subtle blend with rose gold whereas black gemstones create a stark contrast and an almost medieval touch of drama.
With colour set to feature in a big way in the fashion scene, we predict a move towards coloured gemstones set in rose gold, such as the popular blue sapphire and the perfectly matched pink. Another unassuming match we have seen a recently is green stones paired with rose gold, from pastel green to bottle green, this combination has classic appeal.
With rose gold making a huge comeback in the last few years it has now grown from a sporadic choice to one that rivals other metals as the most popular choice. With its versatility suiting everything from the modern takes on classics such as Blake Lively’s popular pink diamond rose gold engagement ring to the wildly unique serpent inspired rose gold and white diamond engagement ring worn by Cameron Diaz, we predict 2018 will see more and more women experimenting with this metal choice.
Let’s take a look at some of our favourites and watch this space for what we think will be some of the most interesting rose gold rings to date!
