Frequently Asked Questions

Still have questions? We’re happy to answer them!

Is it safe to buy diamonds online?

All of our diamonds are carefully assessed based on criteria set by our in-house expert gemmologists, as well as being independently certified by GIA. Unlike other websites, we only list high quality diamonds that have been selected for optimal brilliance, beauty and sparkle. We don’t include diamonds that don’t meet our high standards.

What is a natural diamond?

The diamonds listed above are all natural diamonds. A natural diamond is a diamond that has formed below the earth’s crust over the course of billions of years as a result of intense heat and pressure which causes carbon to crystalise. Volcanic eruptions push kimberlite rocks containing these crystals to the earth’s surface, where they are mined, cut and polished to become the gemstone quality diamonds you see here.

How is the Larsen diamond collection different to other brands?

Q. How is the Larsen diamond collection different to other brands?
A. At Larsen, we showcase a collection of high-quality diamonds that meet our most stringent quality standards. Our expert Gemmologists filter thousands of diamonds through stringent parameters to ensure that we offer our clients a stunning curation of only the highest calibre diamonds.

Our diamond collection is a proud reflection of our commitment to quality.

Can I choose a coloured gemstone for this design?

If you’re looking for a wider selection or something unique, like a coloured diamond or gemstone, our talented jewellers can walk you through the process of selecting the perfect stone with an online, or in store, design consultation. Click here to learn more about the Larsen custom process. To start the process, get in touch here.

What is a GIA report?

A GIA report contains a scientific and unbiased statement of your diamond’s characteristics including the 4Cs. GIA tests every diamond submitted to establish its authenticity as a diamond and whether it’s been subjected to treatments. The report provides a full description of the diamond, including colour, weight, measurements, cutting style, polish, fluorescence and symmetry. To find out more, click here.
