My partner and I decided to go on a tour of melbourne jewellers and stumbled across Larsen towards the end of our day. We were looking for a custom made engagement ring and this place blew every other place out the water - admittedly we were a but intimidated walking into the place but were instantly made to feel at ease by Alex who handled the situation incredibly well.

We had a brief idea of what we wanted but Alex asked all the right questions and showed us different compositions and ended up sketching the ring for us and ordering in some stones, all before we paid a cent. We then went in when the stones arrived and OMG. It was perfect, I paid the deposit on the spot, and Bang - the *INCREDIBLE* ring was ready after a couple of months! I cant thank you enough for such an amazing experience. If anyone is thinking about getting a bespoke ring made to fit at a really solid price, don’t hesitate to give these guys a visit!

We were so lucky to have found Ben at Larsen Jewellery. My partner had a unique engagement ring design and the minute Ben saw the reference photo he was confident he knew exactly what she wanted. To sit down with a jeweller (while watching another work in the studio) was completely different to the showroom/salesperson experience we had at other companies.

Ben knew what my partner wanted in terms of design but also clearly understood the style and feeling she was going for (if that makes sense). Dealing directly with the jeweller guided us on what would/wouldn’t work and we trusted Ben’s experience to bring out the best in the ring.

Any nervousness we had while waiting vanished when we saw the ring for the first time: stunning workmanship, the exact feeling/design my partner was going for and an incredibly natural fit. Luckily my partner fell in love with it the minute she saw it and over the last few months I believe she loves it even more as it slowly becomes a part of her.

It took us over a year to decide on who to entrust but from our first consultation at Larsen we knew we had finally found our place and it was all down to Ben’s experience, approach and love for his craft.

What an incredible experience working with Larsen, especially Alex. Prior to coming to Larsen we visited about 8 different diamond boutiques in Melbourne, it was only here we were lucky enough to work directly with the person creating our engagement ring not just a salesperson.

I shared my ideas for the setting and stones with Ben, who patiently walked me through the options and created hand drawn sketches. He was kind, very responsive, knowledgeable, and made sure I understood every step of the process. We ended up changing one of the gemstones once the ring was already completed, and the adjustment was handled quickly and seamlessly. I couldn’t be happier with the result - highly recommend!

We didn't really have our mind set on a specific design and changed direction a couple of times but Rachel was very lovely, professional and patient in helping us choosing. I’d done my research before booking our initial appointment at Larsen Jewellers, but the moment we walked in and met LuLu, we knew we were in the right place. The space is warm and welcoming, with just the right balance of professionalism and ease.

Within that first appointment, we had a strong feeling we’d found the rings. We’d planned to look elsewhere, but honestly — my heart was set. My wife chose the half bead rose gold band, and I went with the full bead version. They’re stunning, unique, and beautifully crafted.

They did a mold with the existing earring and handheld me to find that perfect color match (the most important thing)! My partner and I really love the ring, it’s absolutely gorgeous. We also particularly loved the accommodation The jewellers showed us in regard to accessibility due to being vision impaired. Emma was super patient with showing us all the different band and stone styles, letting us feel them since we can’t see them, and talking us through the different points of each so that we could pick the one best for us. The final piece was very particular to our tastes, and very much suited our style.

For engagement rings, this is the BEST place! We visited a few shops around (including one very very nearby), and Larsen was hands down the best. We had our appointment with Ben, who was an amazing help throughout the selection process. The point of difference for us was that Ben was the actual jewelry maker, which meant we could lean on him for his expertise and you could tell he genuinely cared. Out of all the shops we went to, Larsen sourced the best looking stones and made the process fun. The showroom is beautiful too. Cannot recommend enough!

Jacinta worked with me and my husband Chris to design our engagement rings and later our wedding bands - I can't recommend her highly enough. Jacinta is incredibly kind, encouraging, and passionate about jewellery. We felt so at ease with her from the moment we met, and she listened to us and asked all the right questions to fully understand our vision for our rings. From the first appointment for our engagement rings to the pick-up appointment for our weddings bands we have felt completely supported by her and trusted her fully to make sure our rings were perfect (which she absolutely did).

I'm a creative person and I've previously worked in jewellery design, so I can be quite particular about what I want and what I think looks cohesive and well balanced - I never had to worry about that with Jacinta. Her eye for angles and aesthetic balance meant that she never showed us a single stone that wasn't beautifully proportioned and the perfect scale for our design goals.

We love our rings so much, I doubt a week has gone by since we got engaged that we haven't talked about how much we love them. My husband first proposed in May 2023 and I get compliments and questions about my engagement ring all the time.

Highly recommend the experience with Larsen! I went in to the engagement ring design process with a few key ideas and little knowledge about the process, and Rachel was unbelievably helpful from start to finish in reaching a design that I was really happy with. The sketch and render process was a great touch and gave me a lot of confidence in locking in a design.

We approached Larsen Jewellers in early September to get an engagement ring made. I wanted to propose on a dive trip to Indonesia in November. When it came to Diamond choices ,my partner was very picky. Larsens bent over backwards to accommodate us, giving us numerous options.

In the end my partner found a diamond elsewhere. Larsens did not hesitate to obtain it and made the process very easy. This process also took a few weeks and the window to get the ring made in time was fast closing.

I called Larsens 5 days before we departed to see how things were going and was advised that the ring was scheduled to be completed well after we had gone overseas. This was due to our delaying the choice of diamond and sourcing it elsewhere, not due to Larsens.

When I explained the situation They literally dropped everything and put a rush on the ring. Five days later I had it in my hand when I got on the flight.

I cannot express my gratitude for Larsens patience, helpfulness and overall attitude to us being difficult. Nothing was too much trouble and even though they rushed the final part of building our ring it came out amazing.

You and your fiancé will do the ring making process, from the start to the end with supervision from the jeweller. Otherwise, 5/5!!!!
