We had such a good experience creating my engagement ring at Larsen! Lulu was super helpful, especially with my constant design tweaks and offered such helpful insights along the way too. We had gone to five different jewellers before Larsen who couldn’t find the right stones but Lulu and the team got it done almost immediately! I’m looking forward to working on more pieces with Lulu and the Larsen team.

I went to Larsen Jewellery to have some old rings made into a new ring. From the first appointment Emma put so much care and thought into what I was looking for and I was absolutely thrilled with the outcome. The ring is stunning, exactly what I wanted, and couldn't have turned out better. The end to end experience was fantastic, everyone I dealt with throughout the process was lovely and made it a great experience. I highly recommend Larsen Jewellery if you are after something special and beyond expectation.

What more can be said for Larsen aside from 'excellence'?
I walked in with a vague idea, and Pheobe in the Sydney office brought it to life before my eyes.

If you're going to spoil your significant other, the custom options are incredible. There are also some quite fairly priced options, or the sky is the limit if you want that.
I had thought i'd be hurting on the price, but honestly it was almost half of what I expected for a totally custom piece.

My other half isn't big on diamonds, but they had a wonderful selection of ethically sourced stones and the production is all carbon neutral, it's also all made on site.

The timing was also phenomenal, maybe I got lucky but it was maybe two months?

Customer support, also top notch. They offer full digital renders, and Pheobe edited a picture of the stone onto the image when I was worried about the colour of the stone to ease my thoughts.

The packaging was also very thoughtful and well made. It all led to a damn near perfect proposal and it fit her perfectly!

Do yourself a favour, and just go have a chat with them and see what's possible.

Find the Perfect Titanium & Zirconium Wedding Ring

Prized for their lightness, strength and striking natural grey colour, both titanium and zirconium metals can make men’s wedding rings that are perfectly suited to a lifetime of wear. Both are extremely hard-wearing, with titanium known as one of the hardest metals on earth, while heat-treated zirconium forms a tough outer layer that becomes highly damage-resistant. In both cases, you’ll find a unique combination of dark, polished good looks, elegant simplicity and durability that will let you wear your wedding ring every day.

While titanium and zirconium rings are only able to be made by machine (and not by hand), we offer a broad range of designs and styles available in these two exceptional metals. If you’re looking for a specific style of titanium or zirconium wedding band, we encourage you to speak with one of our in-house jewellery designers about the options available.

Explore Our Titanium & Zirconium Wedding Rings

Titanium is extremely durable, and as such is a popular choice for men’s wedding rings. Titanium is a very lightweight metal and has a natural grey colour. It is a more affordable metal option compared to gold or platinum because it is not considered a precious metal.

Zirconium is another highly durable choice for wedding rings. Though it has a naturally grey colour very similar to titanium, after a process of heating it forms a black, hard, ceramic-like surface. This outer layer is very hard and can’t be rubbed off like the coating or plating on other “black” metal ring options.

Titanium and Zirconium rings can only be made by machine and are therefore not an option for the Wedding Ring Experience and are only available as ready-made rings. It is also important to note that when choosing a titanium or zirconium wedding ring, it is important to get the sizing correct, as they are not able to be resized once made.

The range of Titanium and Zirconium wedding rings shown on our website is only a small selection of what is possible, and we encourage you to come in and speak to one of our jewellers, who will help you choose a Titanium wedding band that is perfect for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Still have questions? We’re happy to answer them!

Are zirconium and titanium wedding rings durable?

Both zirconium and titanium are highly durable, with hardness and strength that can resist damage across a lifetime of wear. Titanium is naturally hard and has a very high strength-to-weight ratio, while zirconium (once heat-treated) is protected by an extremely tough outer coating. Both metals are ideal for active lifestyles or those who plan to wear their rings consistently for life.

Can titanium and zirconium wedding rings be resized?

Unfortunately, neither titanium or zirconium wedding rings can be resized once crafted. Rings from both metals are produced by machine at very high temperatures, rather than by hand, and cannot be soldered in regular environments. To ensure your ring is a perfect fit, we strongly encourage you to visit our studios and have your finger measured by our jewellers before you place your order.

Can you engrave titanium and zirconium wedding rings?

Despite their signature hardness, it is certainly possible to create engraved designs on both zirconium and titanium wedding bands. Typically, this requires specialised engraving equipment that is suited to the durable, wear-resistant metals, so hand engraving is not always possible.

Are titanium and zirconium wedding rings popular?

For those looking for a visually-striking, hard-wearing and lightweight wedding ring, zirconium and titanium wedding rings are popular choices. While these metals may be less common than traditional materials like yellow gold, they are particularly popular with men looking for a strong, eye-catching wedding band that will last a lifetime.

How much do titanium and zirconium wedding rings cost?

We have a number of options for titanium and zirconium rings available on our website with prices as listed, but bespoke pieces will require a consultation. Prices for any of our one-off wedding bands will depend on the style and metal used, and as such we recommend coming in to discuss your ideal wedding ring with one of our jewellers so that we can provide an accurate quote.

Can gemstones be set in titanium and zirconium wedding rings?

While it is possible to set gemstones in both zirconium and titanium rings, this is generally done with specialised equipment. This is not something we recommend or provide for wedding bands in these metals. If you would like to learn more about setting gemstones into your wedding ring, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our jewellers, who will be able to help you choose the best possible metal option for your needs.
