We source pink diamonds from the Argyle Diamond Mine in Western Australia’s Kimberley Region. Here, the mining of diamonds is governed by strict conditions regarding sustainability and the treatment of traditional lands. Owing to their rarity, pink diamonds are already some of the most valuable diamonds on the market, but the colour can certainly affect its value. Generally, a deeper, more intense pink hue will be more valuable than a paler pink, but the diamond’s clarity, cut and carat – that is, the weight – are also factors.

With its complementary colour, rose gold is a traditional choice to pair with a pink diamond. White gold and platinum, as paler colours, are also great choices as they allow a pink diamond to really show off its dazzling brilliance.
