Larsen Jewellery was established twenty years ago with a vision of providing customers direct access to a fine jewellery studio, offering a combination of exquisite workmanship and personal service. Since establishing the business, we have grown steadily and now have 30 staff across our studios in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
We specialise in custom-made jewellery, including engagement and wedding rings, and sell loose diamonds and coloured gemstones. We use a variety of production methods, including CAD and handmaking.

The opportunity
With studios in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, Larsen Jewellery is a premier destination for custom-made fine jewellery in Australia. Behind every piece and every memory we create is a team of 30 talented, kind people who genuinely love what they do. As our in-house Brand and Social Content Designer, you’ll be right at the heart of our vision and our impact.
As a valued member of our growing head office team, you’ll be based in our new Sydney CBD offices. This is a completely new role, so we’ll shape and evolve it with you to best suit your skill set and experience. Bringing creativity, organisation and a hands-on attitude, you’ll find huge variety and be integral in setting the visual standard for marketing and brand across the business. Reporting to Sarah (our Brand and Marketing Manager), with a direct line to Kate (our General Manager), you’ll:
• Jump in and take ownership of our meta social media platforms, planning the feed, writing captions and posting.
• Put your graphic design skills to use working closely with our brand manager and web developer to improve our website, digital and print ads along with other touch elements throughout our studios and social platforms.
• Have your finger on the pulse of our brand and marketing as part of a team who strive to keep things running smoothly and effectively.
Working Hours
We are open to full time or part time arrangements and will work with you to find the right fit. As this role includes running our social channels, there will be light engagement outside standard business hours, such as posting, replying to messages, or interacting with comments. This time will be planned for and recognised within your overall workload.

About you
• CRITICAL: You have a social media and graphic design background, experience with website mock-ups using tools such as figma or adobe illustrator would be nice but isn’t a deal breaker. You’re self-sufficient and organised, with excellent time management skills and can turn your hand to a variety of different tasks. You care about the quality and impact of your work, even for the less glamorous admin!
• You have some marketing experience and a general understanding of retail or e-commerce processes. You also bring research skills, to monitor social media trends and explore new ideas. And you either have experience working with fine jewellery, or you’re genuinely keen to get into this space.
• You’re a friendly and open communicator. You enjoy working as part of a team and supporting your colleagues as they support you. You also have strong written English abilities (sentence structure, grammar and punctuation), with close attention to detail. Copywriting skills would be a welcome bonus.
You have style without the ego, a good work ethic and a sense of humour. All three will serve you well here.
