My partner and I decided to go on a tour of melbourne jewellers and stumbled across Larsen towards the end of our day. We were looking for a custom made engagement ring and this place blew every other place out the water - admittedly we were a but intimidated walking into the place but were instantly made to feel at ease by Alex who handled the situation incredibly well.

We had a brief idea of what we wanted but Alex asked all the right questions and showed us different compositions and ended up sketching the ring for us and ordering in some stones, all before we paid a cent. Larsen Jewellery specialises in custom-made dress rings, so no matter your style or budget, we can create the perfect dress ring design for you. There are no rules for dress rings, and it can be a great opportunity to be a little daring with your design. Your preference for a particular type of gemstone, colour or motif can be the inspiration for your dress ring, which can be made in any type or combination of metals, such as rose gold or platinum. Dress rings are often created for special occasions and are usually made to be worn occasionally, rather than daily.

How long does it take to make a dress ring?

A Larsen dress ring usually takes around 4 weeks to complete, though some may take between 2 to 6 weeks depending on the complexity of the design. Perfection can’t be rushed and having a dress ring custom-made is worth the wait. However, if you have a particularly tight deadline, please let us know and we will do everything in our power to meet it.

Where can I try on one of your dress ring designs?

We have conveniently located studios in Melbourne CBD and Sydney CBD. Here you will be able to discuss your design ideas with a jeweller and try on sample rings to get to know exactly what you’re looking for. Simply head over to the contact page to book in a consultation.
