What is a cushion cut halo ring?
A cushion cut stone is neither fully round nor fully square, and a mix of both shapes. There is no standard for how a stone is cut into a cushion, so there’s great variety to choose from in shape. A halo on a cushion cut would add an extra level of sparkle, with a ring of small surrounding stones.
Is a cushion cut diamond less expensive?
Yes and no. Per carat, a cushion cut diamond tends to be less expensive than a round brilliant cut. A cushion cushion cut is deeper, though, so the face size of the diamond would be smaller than a round brilliant of the same weight.
Is princess cut or cushion cut more sparkly?
Because cushion cut diamonds can vary so much in how they’re cut, it’s important to view the stone to see in person how much it reflects light, and we’d recommend the same with a princess cut stone.
How can I customise this design?
We have a number of customisation options already available on the website for the Rosetta design. If you’d like the halo to be a different colour, we have a design with a pink sapphire halo. If you prefer a coloured centre stone, we have that option. If you’re looking for a diamond of a different cut, we also have an oval, pear, and brilliant cut design available on the website. The Rosetta is also available as a trio design, with either a sapphire or green tourmaline centre stone.
