Why don't you make yellow gold wedding rings out of pure 24ct gold?
While 24ct gold is the purest expression of gold, it is not suitable for jewellery that will be worn every day. 24ct yellow gold wedding bands are quite soft and can be easily damaged. We usually recommend 18ct gold (which is 75% pure and alloyed with metals like copper or silver) for jewellery that will be worn daily, as it is much more durable while still having a high purity.
