We’re going to kick things old school and start off with the one and the only, Elizabeth Taylor. But which engagement ring do you ask? Of course, the show-stopping sparkler, featuring a 29.4ct emerald cut diamond gifted by Mike Todd. We think it’s safe to say this ring marked the beginning of elitist engagement rings.

An Honourable Mention: Although not an engagement ring as such, the lover all things jewellery received an impressive 33.19ct D VS1 Asscher cut diamond from husband #5, Richard Burton.

2. Emily Ratajkowski

Jason Sudeikis chose a round brilliant cut diamond surrounded by a halo of emeralds to bring out the colour in Olivia’s eyes. So romantic!
